Security must be addressed comprehensively

Nowadays, the key assets of companies and societies are significantly shifting into the area of data and information. Assets are then affected by threats from various types of security, namely cyber, physical, operational, and information security. If we want to secure our assets comprehensively, we must cover threats from all these areas; we then speak of converged security.

Current developments in the field of security show that the chosen direction of connecting physical and cyber security into a single unit is increasingly relevant and appears more and more frequently in the solutions of individual companies.

The convergence of data from individual types of security occurs at the level of management systems, i.e., superordinate solutions such as PSIM or SIEM and SOAR.
